Amouage Santal Sohar is a deep and harmonious oriental-woody unisex perfume, launched in 2023 by the Arabic perfume house Amouage. The fragrance composition, created by perfumer Karine Vinchon-Spehner, is inspired by the authentic nature of Oman. A golden aura of a thousand celestial lights shimmers above the ancient harbor of Sohar, from where fragrant spices and sandalwood once flowed to Europe. In the opening accord of Amouage Santal Sohar, powdery-green notes of basil intertwine with the velvety, honeyed aroma of rose in the heart accord, blending with the spicy nuance of bright red clove bark, softened in the final accord by the gentle, gourmand radiance of sandalwood.
