Haider Ackermann‘s work for Canada Goose continues with his third winter capsule under the “Snow Goose” label. For Fall/Winter 2025, the collection sets aside the idea that certain colors are only for warm months. Ackermann uses a palette of fluorescent “Mint Green,” “Ice Lavender,” and “Marine Earth Blue,” grounding them with “Browns” and “Blacks.”
“Winter is often imagined as a season of silence, as quiet or still,” the designer states. “But I wanted this collection to breathe, to move with the rhythm of life that persists beneath the cold and capture the pulse of life in the cold.”

This idea of aliveness is reflected in the campaign, shot by Tim Elkaïm. The images feature Willie Nelson, D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, Tasha Tilberg, Stevie Sims, Xiaowen Ju, and Connor Newall against a bright white backdrop. The cast appears to be hit by a gust of wind, clutching their outerwear and headwear. A press release describes this direction as embodying “resilience and quiet optimism.”
The pieces themselves include the heavy-duty, sculptural Thalix Parka, a lightweight Shift Anorak, and the Weld Jacket. A fully reflective Merge Jacket and Pant set is also offered. The Rigel Heavyweight Hoodie presents the collection’s core message with a statement graphic: “The Earth Needs All the Friends It Can Get.”

This message connects to the brand’s support for the natural world. Ackermann is hosting a four-day expedition in Churchill, Manitoba, Canada, for a select group. The trip is planned to coincide with the annual November gathering of polar bears along the Hudson Bay. The brand calls this a “love letter to the land” and a continuation of its ongoing partnership with Polar Bears International (PBI), an organization that helps protect polar bears and their Arctic habitat.
