The couturier passed away Monday surrounded by family at his home in the Italian capital.
Valentino Garavani died today. The Roman residence where he died hosted the loved ones who surrounded the couturier in his final moments. The 93-year-old will be moved from his home to lie in state at PM23.
PM23, located at Piazza Mignanelli 23, opens for visitors on Wednesday and Thursday. Thursday’s viewing hours from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. match the schedule for the previous day. These days of public remembrance lead into the funeral on Friday.
Friday’s service begins at 11 a.m. at the Basilica Santa Maria degli Angeli e dei Martiri. The Basilica will welcome mourners at Piazza della Repubblica 8 in Rome.
