First seen on the Fall/Winter 2025 runway, Miu Miu has released Rêverie, a limited edition of sunglasses. The design is an oval shape, a silhouette inspired by vintage 1960s frames that feels as classic as something worn by a Jean Seberg character. The style is constructed in layered acetate, with a honey-inflected tortoiseshell frame and tonal lenses.
The production is a study in material and form. Three layers of acetate are bonded to create a structured front. To balance the volume, the edges are milled down to slim the sides. A glossy surface is the result of a four-stage tumbling process, which is then followed by manual polishing. The Miu Miu signature on the temples is set in precision-cut recesses, with each of the six letters placed by hand.

Only 100 pairs of the Rêverie sunglasses are being produced. Each is discreetly engraved with an individual number. The collectible frames are available exclusively in selected Miu Miu boutiques and on the brand’s website.
