Jonathan Kaye earned his MA in Fashion from Central Saint Martins in 1998 and has since established himself as a key figure in editorial and commercial styling. Based in London, he has worked with photographers including Karim Sadli, Juergen Teller, Mario Sorrenti, Alasdair McLellan, Harley Weir and Glen Luchford.

Since 2010 he has held the role of Fashion Director at The Gentlewoman, where his work spans both magazine features and covers. He has also contributed to publications such as POP, W Magazine and Vogue Italia, and participated in My Family, a collaborative project with Nick Knight and Simon Foxton that was exhibited at Tate Modern in 2001.

On the commercial side, Kaye’s client list includes Valentino, Bally, Gucci, Chanel, Armani and Blumarine. His recent work continues his long-standing collaboration with Alessandro Michele, first developed during Michele’s time at Gucci and renewed with Valentino in 2024.
