In 1997, she began consulting for Trussardi and, around the same time, joined Balenciaga under Nicolas Ghesquière, where she played a central role in establishing the house’s creative direction through styling and visual consulting.

In 2012, Sauvé became senior fashion editor at W Magazine, followed by her appointment as fashion director of T: The New York Times Style Magazine in 2016. Over the course of her career, she has provided creative consultancy for major fashion houses including Louis Vuitton and Hermès, contributing to campaigns and visual strategies while continuing to work on independent editorial projects.

Through Mastermind, Sauvé has built a publication that connects fashion with culture, art, and design, featuring work by photographers such as Steven Meisel and Jamie Hawkesworth. The magazine is known for its long-form interviews and in-depth visual storytelling. Based in Paris, she continues to oversee Mastermind and take on select collaborations, maintaining her role as a leading creative figure in contemporary fashion publishing and styling.
