Tonne Goodman is a New York–born fashion editor and stylist whose industry career spans more than four decades. She began as a model before turning to the academic study of art and soon joined Diana Vreeland at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute.

Goodman moved into editorial styling and reporting at The New York Times and other outlets before joining Calvin Klein’s advertising team as vice president of advertising in 1988. In 1999 she accepted an invitation from Anna Wintour and began her two-decade tenure as fashion director at Vogue (U.S.). During that time she oversaw numerous cover stories and editorial features with top photographers and celebrities, contributing to the magazine’s evolution in the 21st century.

In recent years Goodman has shifted her focus toward sustainability in fashion. She holds the role of sustainability editor at Vogue and has spoken publicly about industry waste and the power of consumer choice. Her body of work includes the visual memoir Point of View: Four Decades of Defining Style, which documents her journey through modeling, editorial roles, and corporate work.

Goodman remains active in editorial collaborations and interviews in 2025. Her credits span campaigns, lookbooks, and magazine editorials for major fashion houses and media outlets.
