Venetia Scott, born 25 June 1963 in the UK, is a fashion stylist and photographer whose career spans more than three decades.

She began her professional journey at British Vogue in 1984, initially serving as a personal assistant to Beatrix Miller and later as a fashion assistant to Grace Coddington. In 1987 she moved into freelance styling and art direction, working with photographers such as Juergen Teller, David Sims, Mario Sorrenti and others.

In 1997 Scott began consulting for Marc Jacobs and by 2001 she was appointed creative director of his eponymous label’s diffusion line, Marc by Marc Jacobs, overseeing accessories and related creative. Her interest in photography took hold in 2005, and she has since shot editorial and campaign work for a variety of brands and publications.

In 2017 Scott returned to British Vogue in a senior editorial role, becoming fashion director under editor-in-chief Edward Enninful, and she now contributes as a freelance writer, stylist and photographer. Her recent work includes styling and photographing the “Future Vintage” story for British Vogue’s April 2025 issue, in partnership with an e-commerce charity initiative via eBay UK.

Scott’s practice continues to explore editorial storytelling through both styling and image making, collaborating regularly with magazines such as British Vogue, W, AnOther and Self Service.
