Zara Mirkin is a fashion stylist and creative consultant based in New York City, originally from Aotearoa (New Zealand). Her career began in her native country, where early experience in a retail setting helped develop her understanding of clothing, presentation and consumer culture.

Over the years Mirkin has built a portfolio that spans editorials, advertising campaigns and brand collaborations. Her work has been featured in publications such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar US, Dazed and Interview Magazine. She has styled major brands including Marc Jacobs, Nike, SSENSE, Nordstrom, Valentino and Gucci.

Mirkin’s approach often draws on street culture, mixed heritage casting and everyday reference points as a way to bring fashion into dialogue with youth and sub-culture aesthetics. In one recent example, she is credited with contributing to the visual direction of the Fall/Winter 2025 collection for Supreme and shaping related lookbooks and campaigns.

Alongside her styling work she holds the title of Fashion Editor at Large for Dazed Magazine. Based in New York and working internationally, her projects regularly involve creative direction, casting, collaboration with photographers and global travel.

Mirkin remains active in both editorial and commercial spaces, often bridging the two through collaborations that interrogate how luxury, streetwear and everyday fashion intersect.
