Louis Vuitton’s makeup era is here. The maison’s first color line, La Beauté Louis Vuitton, arrives with Dame Pat McGrath as cosmetics creative director, formalizing a runway partnership that has shaped the house’s beauty language for years.

The lineup is concise and collectible: 55 LV Rouge lipsticks, 10 LV Baume tinted balms, and eight LV Ombres eye-shadow quads. The 55 is a neat nod to LV in Roman numerals. Finishes skew classic, with satins and mattes for lip and eight edited quad harmonies for eye.

Formulas lean plush and skincare minded. Lip products are cushioned with shea butter and hyaluronic acid and carry a light floral scent composed by Louis Vuitton master perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud. Shade anchors include 854 Rouge Louis, 896 Monogram Rouge, and 203 Rose Odyssée.

Balms are sheer, glossy, and meant to be thrown in a bag. Look for 051 Monogram Touch, a transparent take on the burnished Monogram Rouge story.

Eyes follow suit with eight quads in wearable neutrals plus a twist shade. The powders include plant-derived squalane and camelina flower oil, and a brand-described light-up technology that wraps shimmer in a clear gel for extra shine.

Objects matter here. Industrial designer Konstantin Grcic created the refillable cases so they feel like Vuitton pieces, not just compacts. Accessories span lipstick cases and a small vanity trunk that keys into the house’s travel DNA.

McGrath’s brief is broad: steer product, set the beauty direction, and carry Louis Vuitton’s artistry from the runway to the counter. It is a natural extension of a long working relationship between the artist and the house.
