The latest Jennie x Beats collaboration introduces a Ruby Red Solo 4 with detachable bows, inspired by the artist’s debut record Ruby.
Beats and Jennie are teaming up again, this time on a special Solo 4 in Ruby Red. The color choice nods directly to her debut album Ruby and anchors the collaboration in her own creative world.
The headphones are built on a matte red base with R and J initials and a custom motif on one UltraPlush ear cushion. The standout is the pair of clip-on bows that snap onto the headband and can be removed just as easily, giving the Solo 4 a playful fashion twist. Even the packaging stays in theme with layered red on red.
“Beats has been part of my everyday life and creative process, so collaborating with them in this way feels very special,” Jennie said in the launch release. “I’m excited for people to experience my music in a new way through these headphones.”
The Solo 4 Ruby Red Bow Edition will be available September 5 on Apple.com and in select Apple stores across Los Angeles, New York, Shanghai, Tokyo and Seoul. The headphones retail for $199.99 USD and will be sold in the U.S., U.K., China, Japan and South Korea.
To mark the drop, Beats will also host in-store activations with a Jennie-curated playlist, positioning the launch as more than just a new colorway but as an experience for fans.
