Casio is marking its 50th anniversary with the CRW001G-9JR Gold Ring Watch, a follow-up to last year’s ring watch debut. The design combines stainless steel with Metal Injection Molding, finished in gold ion plating that gives it the presence of jewelry while staying true to the brand’s digital roots.

The case is built as a single piece, reinforced with mirror bonding for airtight sealing that provides daily water resistance. To ensure comfort, Casio includes two spacers that allow the ring to be resized from its base 22 down to 19 or 16.

On the display side, the watch keeps its retro essence with a seven-segment LCD that tracks time, date, dual zones, and stopwatch functions. A discreet flash alert can also be set to blink at intervals, underscoring its mix of utility and minimalism.

Priced at ¥22,000 JPY (about $150 USD), the CRW001G-9JR balances accessibility with rarity. Rather than releasing it widely, Casio has made the watch available through a raffle system on its official site, open until October 6.
