Givenchy has introduced the Pinch Bag, a new design first seen on the Paris runway as part of the Fall Winter 2025 women’s collection by creative director Sarah Burton. The name nods to the gestures of tailoring, where fabric is cut, folded, and pinched into precise shapes. That same language of craft is translated into leatherwork, turning fittings into structure.

The bag is built in natural-grained box leather, its body folded like an envelope and held in place with gold-finished brackets. These details function as both a new Givenchy signature and as an engineering element, keeping the silhouette sharp while maintaining rounded volume. The shape sits between architectural clarity and a sculptural form, balancing tension with ease.

Palmellato leather versions bring texture with their glossy, irregular finish, while contrasting edges accentuate the folds. Curved hardware along the gusset frames the profile and resolves in an inventive closure system that ties back to Givenchy’s history of technical precision.

The Pinch comes in three sizes and a spectrum of finishes: black and ivory, seasonal shades of deep red and acid yellow, and reflective metallics in gold or silver mirror leather. Medium and small versions are fitted with a discreet mirror inside, a utilitarian detail tucked into the design.
The Pinch Bag is now available at Givenchy boutiques and on givenchy.com.
