Summary
- Moncler’s new “Warmer Together” campaign stars actors Al Pacino and Robert De Niro.
- Photographed in New York by Platon, the black-and-white campaign focuses on ideas of friendship and human connection.
- A new version of Bill Withers’ “Lean on Me” by Tobe Nwigwe provides the soundtrack.
For its latest global campaign, Moncler brought together two longtime friends: Al Pacino and Robert De Niro. The project, titled “Warmer Together,” presents the actors in a series of black-and-white images and short films shot in New York by portrait photographer Platon.
The campaign centers on five themes: friendship, respect, connection, trust, and warmth. For Remo Ruffini, the chairman and chief executive officer of Moncler, this focus is a deliberate expression of the brand’s identity beyond its well-known outerwear. “For decades, Moncler has been associated with winter and puffer jackets, but I have always felt that Moncler is about something deeper: love and a sense of togetherness,” Ruffini said. “These values have shaped everything we’ve done for over 70 years. Across every product and every campaign, there runs a consistent thread of emotion and human connection.”

He continued, “Through their story of friendship, Al Pacino and Robert De Niro embody everything Moncler truly stands for: affection, warmth and the belief that we are all better and warmer together.”
The campaign’s message is directly supported by the words of its two subjects. “Warmth was never about the outside. It was always about what was happening on the inside,” De Niro says in one of the films. Pacino offers his own perspective on companionship, stating, “Friendship is the greatest thing you can have. Friends, people whom you share the same world with. There is just an innate trust. And the understanding of life.”
The theme is further reinforced by the campaign’s soundtrack. Artist and Moncler ambassador Tobe Nwigwe, along with his wife Fat, recorded a new rendition of the Bill Withers classic “Lean on Me,” lending an auditory layer to the project’s message of support and companionship.
