Miguel Castro Freitas has offered his first visual narrative as Creative Director of Mugler. Titled “The Wardrobe of Identities,” the Pre-Collection SS26 approaches the concept of archetypal pieces as a living wardrobe in motion. The designer looks to the architectural power associated with the house but proposes new codes of movement to accompany it.
The collection balances structure with ease. Sculpted tailoring sits alongside cascading satin and jersey. The silhouettes emphasize defined shoulders and hourglass waists to express a modern sense of form. These garments are designed to express both signature elements and development.

Photographer Reto Schmid and stylist Robbie Spencer created the visuals for the season. The imagery focuses on the concept of the many selves we carry and the personas we shift through. Model Libby Bennett fronts the campaign. She inhabits a freedom to change that suggests duality and playfulness. The mood conveys a quiet metamorphosis and the cinema that defines modern existence.

The collection arrives in December 2025 on the brand’s website and in selected boutiques worldwide.
