A campaign lensed by Aidan Zamiri captures the items, but not on the expected snowscapes. Instead, the collection is seen in motion against the backdrop of city life. The images place thermoregulating outerwear, aerodynamic shapes, and winter-inflected accessories within a typical Parisian’s daily routines. The concept transports an alpine attitude to an urban environment, suggesting the pieces are built for extreme conditions but can be taken anywhere.
The clothing is designed for protection, featuring reversible puffer jackets, gilets, and parkas with high collars or hoods. Nylon and fleece zip-ups are also included. These pieces are constructed with water-repellent outer shells, inner membranes, Aquazip technology, and down-proof weaves. Functional details include hidden elastics and the Recco rescue system.
The collection also features limited-edition hard goods. Mirror-effect snowboards and skis, lightweight poles, and an impact-absorbent helmet were developed with leading Italian snow equipment manufacturers. Silver-sheen black Mask goggles complete the athletic gear.
This approach extends to the accessories. The Balenciaga Dumbo and Alaska lines feature outsized boots and platform mules in warming split calfskin or padded nylon.
