The partnership between The North Face and Cecilie Bahnsen continues in a second chapter that deepens the dialogue between femininity and performance. Bahnsen reinterprets The North Face’s classic outerwear with a lighter hand, softening its technical roots through texture, volume and structure.
Known for her delicate yet architectural approach to womenswear, the Copenhagen-based designer built her label around contrast: lightness and form, craft and function. Her collections pair couture-level construction with ease, making her an unexpected yet natural partner for a brand grounded in practicality.

The pieces are designed to layer and move across different settings. A Himalayan parka is cut oversized yet weightless, styled with a down skirt that rethinks what outdoor wear can be. The Denali fleece returns with Bahnsen’s signature detailing, while the Wool DOTKNIT baselayer works equally well for travel or city wear.
This chapter builds on what came before, balancing softness and utility to create a wardrobe that bridges the urban and the natural, the functional and the feminine.

Floral motifs appear as quiet accents such as zipper pulls shaped like blossoms, small appliqués on boots and bags, and draw-cord toggles that recall petals. These touches place the collection firmly within Bahnsen’s world while keeping its purpose intact.

Materials stay true to The North Face’s outdoor heritage but are adapted for everyday wear. Bahnsen reworks existing fabrics through her considered approach, turning performance design into pieces made for daily life.
The collection will be available Thursday 30 October 2025 at 10 AM CET through The North Face’s website and select retailers.
