When Y-3, the adidas label under Yohji Yamamoto, partners with NEIGHBORHOOD, Tokyo’s long-standing streetwear authority, the energy lands somewhere between garage grit and runway precision. The two brands are both known for their singular vision, and together they turn Fall/Winter 2025 into a statement on motion and craftsmanship.
The apparel grounds the collaboration in pure biker heritage. Leather racer jackets and pants, developed with Italian motorsport brand Dainese, show real track influence while holding their place in everyday wear. Printed tees come alive with scorpions, frogs, and moths created by artist David Gwyther of Death Spray Custom, a name already known in motorsport circles for his distinct and graphic style.
Footwear continues the theme with the NBHD Nizzastar, a hybrid silhouette merging the adidas Nizza with the classic shell toe of the Superstar. The sneaker’s black finish and clean white stitching make it lowkey but instantly recognizable to anyone who knows the design language of both brands.
Photographer Takay shot the campaign in moody black and white, framing models against a custom motorcycle built by Tokyo workshop Cherryscompany. The imagery mirrors the spirit of the collection, fast, functional, and deeply rooted in subculture.
