The California label lands in Cross Creek Ranch with a light-filled boutique shaped by Erik Torstensson and designer Flora Byk.

FRAME has opened its nineteenth store in Malibu, set just off the Pacific Coast Highway. The location keeps the label close to its California roots, with a palette drawn from canyon ochres and sun-faded sand.
It is the third retail project between cofounder and creative director Erik Torstensson and Paris-based interior designer Flora Byk, following the Madison Avenue flagship in April 2024 and Scottsdale Fashion Square in June 2025. Their brief here is straightforward: a store that reads modern California and serves clothes first.

At 1,755 square feet, the space centers on an elliptical metal structure that organizes the floor. Vertical panels reference the adjustable brise-soleil of midcentury California architecture, with nods to Richard Neutra, Pierre Koenig, and Craig Ellwood.
Sandblasted elm brings warmth and texture, its weathered finish set against clean lines. A continuous skylight runs front to back, so the light shifts over the day. Womenswear and menswear ready to wear are shown throughout.

Torstensson also contributed bespoke pieces, including a window sculpture and a hand-crafted metal table. He used AI as a tool in the design process, pairing a refined aesthetic with hands-on fabrication.
The Malibu store carries the brand’s latest men’s and women’s collections, housed in a space shaped by California light and landscape. It is located at 23465 Civic Center Way, Suite 460, open daily.
