Mikey Madison has been named Dior’s newest ambassador, the first under Jonathan Anderson since he took over as artistic director earlier this year. The choice signals a clear link between the designer’s new chapter and one of Hollywood’s sharpest rising actors.
Madison’s career has accelerated quickly. Last year she starred in Sean Baker’s Anora, which won the Palme d’Or at Cannes, and in March she collected the Oscar for Best Actress. Her work has drawn attention for its intensity and nuance, qualities Dior highlighted in the announcement, describing her as a modern face of elegance.
She has already started her Dior story on the red carpet. At the 2025 Oscars she wore Dior couture, a gown with vintage echoes that pointed back to the house’s archive while keeping the look firmly in the present. That appearance now reads like an early nod to the partnership, a sign of how Madison and Dior were already aligning.
Anderson is preparing his first women’s show for Dior, set for October 1 in Paris, while also overseeing men’s and haute couture. Bringing Madison into the fold now gives his debut season a Hollywood anchor, one that extends Dior’s presence on and off the runway.
