The British Fashion Council reveals The Fashion Awards 2025 nominees. Royal Albert Hall will host London’s ceremony on December 1.
London is already in awards mode. The British Fashion Council confirmed the nominees for The Fashion Awards 2025, plus the date and venue, set for December 1 at the Royal Albert Hall, with Pandora returning as principal partner.
For Designer of the Year, the shortlist is a cross-section of who is moving fashion right now: Glenn Martens, Jonathan Anderson, Martine Rose, Miuccia Prada, Rick Owens, and Willy Chavarria. Anderson, last year’s winner, is back in the mix.
On the home front, British Womenswear Designer of the Year nods go to Charlotte Knowles and Alexandre Arsenault of Knwls, Simone Rocha, Emma Chopova and Laura Lowena of Chopova Lowena, Erdem Moralıoğlu, and Sarah Burton at Givenchy.
British Menswear Designer of the Year lines up Craig Green, Foday Dumbuya of Labrum London, Grace Wales Bonner, Kiko Kostadinov, Stefan Cooke and Jake Burt of Stefan Cooke, and Nicholas Daley.
A new Vanguard Award spotlights rising British voices with global pull. The inaugural slate: Aaron Esh, Dilara Fındıkoğlu, Feben, Steve O Smith, Tolu Coker, and Torishéju Dumi.
The BFC also fine-tuned its Pandora partnership with a freshly named Style Moment of the Year Award presented by Pandora, honoring a stylist behind a single culture-shaping look.
One major honor is already locked: Brunello Cucinelli will receive the Outstanding Achievement Award.
